Here is a brief look at the underlying philosophy that influences SurveyGold product design decisions and a look at where we are going in the future. 

​As the SurveyGold product line evolves, we will continue to invest in providing solutions with these qualities:
  • Mobile data collection via iOS, Android, Windows and other prominent mobile platforms
  • SurveyGold Community capabilities including the ability to crowd source surveys created by our worldwide customer base, sharing surveys and responses peer-to-peer and via online portal to provide access to survey responses to stakeholders served by our user community
  • Support mechanisms that provide self-directed, just-in-time discovery of resources to help make our users successful
  • World-class data management practices including encryption, redundancy, high availability and high performance
  • Solutions for niche vertical markets to build upon the SurveyGold solution platform and solve problems for surveyors in specific contexts

Product Design Philosophy

  • Design for the Occasional Survey Author
    Surveying is not an "every day" activity for most people. SurveyGold solutions need to leverage what people know and provide a user experience that is intuitive and easy to understand. The price point should not be punitive as the occasional surveyor cannot always predict how many responses they may collect for a given survey.

  • Hide the Technology Bits
    People want to get a survey out there without having to deal with a lot of technology barriers. SurveyGold solutions need to reliably leverage technology while hiding the hard parts from the user experience. For institutional customers, need to make it so that IT technical staff rarely, if ever, need to get involved in deploying SurveyGold solutions.

  • Conduct Surveys in a Variety of Ways
    Web surveys are all the rage. But, they're not always the most effective means of engaging and collecting survey responses. SurveyGold solutions need to provide options to the surveyor by making it easy to conduct and collect responses for the same survey in a variety of ways (e.g., web, offline, kiosk, tablet, paper, interview).

  • Leverage Community
    People helping people is a good thing. SurveyGold solutions need to make it possible to crowd-source surveys from our user base. In addition, feedback from our user community input should help inform product decisions.

  • Provide Relational Support Options
    We exist to solve problems. Sometimes in the course of solving problems, new problems or challenges occur. SurveyGold support solutions need to be personal, accessible and adaptive to new circumstances that emerge in the lives of our buyers and users.

  • Love Schools and Non-Profits
    We know that being cash-strapped is a way of life for many in this sector. So, we endeavor to provide an affordable, effective solution for all.
