System Preferences: You can set the number of seconds when the application stops waiting for responses to download from SurveyGold Online Services. This is done via Help-->Set Preferences-->Proxy-->Response download timeout. The default value is 60 seconds. But it can now be set to up to 99999 seconds. This has the potential to make the application extraordinarily patient when downloading thousands upon thousands of survey responses.

This provides the ability to perform calculations using the response choice provided by the respondent as the basis for determining a numeric integer value. This value represents the ordinal position of the response in the defined set of responses (e.g., first response choice has a value of 1, second response choice has a value of 2, etc.)

General: When launching the SurveyGold application, it detects if the application is already running and prevents it from being opened a second time.
Setup Survey: The ability to import a survey via drag-and-drop is now supported. You can now easily import a survey definition file by dragging it from a file folder into the Setup Survey tab of the SurveyGold application.

Setup Survey: Made usability improvements when dragging and dropping sections and questions. Eliminated screen flicker when hovering over a question to display response choices.
Setup Survey: In the question properties sheet, for a question with no response choices, the "Any Number of Responses" setting is disabled and is set to a value of "1". Having the ability to specify a specific number or "Any number of responses" has produced confusion in online survey forms for survey authors because "any number of responses" arbitrarily produced three fill-in-the-blank response fields. This updates makes it so that a fill-in-the-blank style question has only one field for the respondent complete. The ability change style from single-line to multi-line fill-in-the-blank field is still supported via the Online Survey Settings in the question properties sheet.
View Results: When applying a date range filter and displaying the results in a tabular list, the date range and number of respondents was not properly displayed. This issue is resolved.

Online Survey: When an email is sent that contains multi-line responses entered by a respondent into a text field, the email was not formatted properly because it did not account for when a respondent pressed the Enter key to create multiple lines. This issue has been resolved.

View Results: Added the ability to specify a question to use as a basis for quickly creating a set of memorized filters. Creates a memorized filter for every response choice that a given question. This provides a basis for creating a set of reports based on these filter (see the Analyze Results enhancement below). Practical uses for this feature include creating 360 degree assessment surveys.
Analyze Results: Added the ability for the Publish Word action to detect the presence of memorized filters for the selected survey. When detected, you can select from a set of memorized filters so that a separate Word report is produced for each memorized filter. General: Changed the background color of column title bars throughout the application to provided clearer visual contrast between column headings and the data beneath them. Also made minor visual improvements to button positions and button labels throughout the application. Added faint silver lines between rows of data in the Survey Pulse and View Results panels so that it is easier to tell one row of data from another.

Specifically, if a communications issue with the SurveyGold Online Services occurs while the automatic Update Activity action is being performed while you are away, the Resolve Communications Issue window is no longer displayed because you are away and not there to deal with it anyhow. SurveyGold now reacts appropriately when you are there and when you are not!
