Software Update: Spell Checker in Online Survey Text Fields

We just made an improvement to the SurveyGold online survey form. You can optionally enable the ability to check spelling in text fields in a survey form.

This new feature is accessible when saving your survey as an online survey form in the Advanced tab. Choose from one of 23 dictionaries or select "None" to disable the spell check feature.

Dictionaries include are Afrikaans, Bahasa Malaysia, Brazil, Catalan, Cymric, Dansk, Deutsch, English (Australia), English (Canada), English (International), English (Legal), English (Medical), English (Scientific), English (UK), English (USA), Espanol, Francais, Frisian, Gaelic, Italiano, Nederlands, Portugues and Svenska.

Software Update: Online Survey Custom Confirmation Message

We just made an improvement to the SurveyGold online survey form. You can now specify your own custom confirmation message.

A confirmation message is the message that appears to the respondent immediately after submitting responses to your online survey form. This new feature is accessible when saving your survey as an online survey form in the Appearance tab.

As always, you can acquire this software update via the SurveyGold application as follows:

Software Update: Online Survey Form Improvement

We just made an improvement to the SurveyGold online survey form. The submitted date and time recorded by SurveyGold is now based upon the current date and time of the respondent's browser. Simply said, the respondent's time zone is used when recording the date and time a online survey response is submitted. In the past, the submitted date and time recorded by SurveyGold was based upon our website's date and time.

This software update is for online survey processing programs running on our website. That means that this update goes into effect immediately for all SurveyGold online surveys. No action is required on behalf of SurveyGold users in order to get the benefit of this update.

Software Update: Reporting and Usability Improvements

We just added a few improvements to usability of Setup Survey and fixed a nit-picky bug in the Publish Word action in Analyze Results. As always, you can acquire the update by clicking the About button in the SurveyGold application and then clicking Update SurveyGold.

Software Update: Improvements to Save and Finish Later

We just updated the online survey feature that saves the responses of a partially completed online survey form so that the form can be completed at a later time. Users with very lengthy web surveys informed us they were unable to use this feature reliably. That's no longer an issue as we have upped the capacity and performance of this feature.

Software Update: Introducing Banner Tabulations

We just added a "Create Banner Tabulation" action in the Analyze Results tab. Simply select a banner question and SurveyGold produces a set of cross-tab charts for each and every question compared to the banner question. Many of you have been asking for this. We are glad to finally make it available to you. Woot!

Software Update: Setup Survey Bug Fixes

In the Setup Survey tab, folder names now sort correctly when an existing folder is renamed or a new folder is added. In addition, all known bugs related to the files and folders (explorer) view are now resolved.

Software Update: Publish Web/Word Displays the Response Date with Comments/Notes

In the Analyze Results tab, the Publish Web and Publish Word actions now provide the ability to specify whether or not to display the response date along side any comments or notes that appear in the report. This is a feature requested by customers and we are happy to include it in our latest software update.
